annoyed to report that the translation for the Spanish dubs of Totoro is EVEN WORSE than the English one

@taiyo the Spanish one takes that Totoro moment in the bath where the dad says "if we laugh, the ghosts will go away" (or something, I don't remember the exact original right now) to "the boogie monster is coming for you" which AAAAAAAAAAAAARRRGHHH
@taiyo oh another one in Totoro when they meet the ばあちゃん not only does it weirdly name her "Nanny" (in English!) but the dad says "ella cuida la casa - y por supuesto a Uds" or something like that and - WHAT? no? that makes no sense?
@older oh… it’s just low quality… I imagine that some complex one. I reminded the Japanese famous movie subscription translator who is famous with miss understanding.
